OUR SERVICES
Why should I use your office over other offices in town: Our office offers several advantages to
the community of Sulphur Springs. The first is that we offer all contraceptive options for
women. Other doctors in the area are affiliated with Christus hospital system which is Catholic
and they are not able to offer ANY contraception. So if you need birth control pills, or a long
term highly effective birth control such as an IUD or nexplanon or depo shots you can not get
them except at our office. We are the only office in town that can do a tubal ligation at the time
of your c section. The other doctors in town can not tie tubes due to their affiliation with a
Catholic hospital and so if you have a c section at the Sulphur Springs hospital but want your
tubes tied then you will have to have a second surgery at another hospital to get it done.
Where do you deliver: We are delivering at Hunt Regional in Greenville, Texas
What advantages does this hospital have:
Hunt Regional offers more advanced care for newborns. Hunt Regional has a level III Neonatal
ICU and this means that it can take care of very early premature babies. Babies delivered pre-
mature are able to stay close to home and get the highest level of care. Babies who require
high level NICU care who are born in Sulphur Springs will have to be transported by ambulance
and are usually sent to Dallas which means that the baby is farther from parents who need to
see him or her. At Greenville we are blessed to have two neonatologists who care for babies
born as early as 23 weeks as well as an on sight team which includes a 24 hour full time on
sight neonatal nurse practitioner to help any baby in distress immediatly.
